02 THE WORK

My work spans international economics and international business. I am interested in how trust, institutions and geopolitical conditions shape the way countries and companies compete across borders, and how these relationships change when uncertainty increases.

These questions run through my research, teaching and advisory work. They are academic questions, but also practical ones. They are informed by twenty years of international strategy consulting across Europe, Asia and North America.

DOCTORAL RESEARCH · UNIVERSITY OF MALTA

My research examines how institutional quality, geopolitical positioning and other credibility parameters shape international trade patterns in uncertain times. The work is part of my ongoing PhD in Economics at the University of Malta.

INTERNATIONAL STRATEGY · ADVISORY WORK

My advisory work focuses on how companies enter international markets, build competitive positions and develop lasting customer relationships. Drawing on nearly twenty years of strategy consulting across Europe, Asia and North America, I work across the commercial side of the value chain: from market entry and growth strategy to sales, marketing and after-sales.

TEACHING

My teaching brings together international economics, business strategy and nearly twenty years of international consulting experience.

I combine academic frameworks with real business challenges, case discussions and applied projects. My teaching spans established subjects as well as distinctive perspectives on country identity, competitive advantage and strategic decisions in a fragmented world.
